So now my priorities have changed and this time its not just for me!!!

So its been awhile since last i wrote in here and alot has changed so lets get you up-to-date on whats been goin on... First - I've done alot of soul searching and seen in me what alot of people saw in me the whole time. Second - I learned that i'm not always as strong as i am or want to be, yet i was shown exactly what a strong person is and how strong a family is. So now i move on to my next feat and i believe this is what i was put here for...
This is Sean Semon. Sean is now 33 yrs. old and fighting one of the worst battles for his life that very few EVER have to fight. Five years ago, he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy after a virus attacked his heart. He woke up in the middle of the night unable to breathe, and doctors ultimately decided the best treatment was to implant a defibrillator. However, while he was on the operating table, the surgeon decided that at just 28 years old Sean was too young for the procedure and attempted to treat his illness with medications instead. Two years later, Sean collapsed at work, and finally had the defibrillator implanted to assist his heart functions. Doctors have told Sean a heart transplant is now critical to his survival. Sean, a former semi-professional football player, looks forward to the life saving transplant that will allow him to once again live a healthy, active lifestyle. He also wants to go back to school and finish his degree in criminal justice in hopes of having a future career in law enforcement. Sean wants nothing more than to spend many more years watching his four nephews and two nieces grow up. Sean is now having to fight with his insurance company, AETNA, who is saying that Sean, after working as a security guard and having benefits, doesn't have the "RIGHT" coverage for transplant surgery. WHAT PISSES ME OFF is that insurance companies are all about PROBABILITY, which is a load of shit. Let me break it down for the people that don't know how F***ED UP insurance companies such as, AETNA, are: Lets take 2 men, one who is 65 was in pretty good shape other than he has Seans' same disease. Now you take Sean, 33yrs old, played football, worked his butt off, in good shape until this disease attacked his heart.
Now lets break down an age/probability calculator:
You take into affect that if the insurance company were to give the 65 yr old man a refurbished heart an insurance company doesn't look at him as a liability they look at him as a prospect. Reason being because they figure he will only live for another 10 yrs. TOPS. Now we take Sean, 33, and in dire need of a heart. Now the insurance company looks at Sean, even though they should want to preserve life they see Sean as a liability, because although Sean should be saved an insurance company doesn't want to pay into Sean's claim for the next 45 yrs which he should be able to do if he receives a new heart. This is how crooked and cuniving and snakeish these sorry ass insurance companies are they don't care about the quality of life all they care about is how do they keep the money lining their pockets. For any new viewers to my blog please comment and leave me ?'s or statements anything i enjoy the feedback and it only fuels my fire on writing more about everyday life and how we people can stand up and fight instead of just laying down to take it.

Sean once again you are MY AMBASSADOR OF QUAN.
